What happens if Ukraine falls?
After Ukrainian loss to Putin the country will fall under his absolute control requiring citizens to either follow orders or flee or remain silent. The main challenge emerges from how the world will be affected after this situation. Putin seeks more than just the Ukrainian territory. Russia seeks to destroy Western power following the United States and European nations to gain control itself. When he secures victory in Ukraine the process will begin for further territorial gains.

Historical records demonstrate that leaders like Vladimir Putin do not maintain a stop position. After making their alliance Hitler attacked Stalin through military action during 1941. Putin pretends to be friendly toward Western nations through business initiatives yet his primary motive remains destroying American influence. A perception that America is nearing the development of capabilities that could overcome Russian nuclear arms could prompt him into preemptive aggression to maintain strength.
Right now, the West is split. The ongoing dispute between America and Europe and China means there will be no joint effort to stop Putin. His plan needs this chaos. The establishment of his reputation as the governing figure that completed Western dominance over Russia is his only concern apart from both bombing adjacent countries and money status.
Immediate collective action is necessary for Europe and America to take. Helping Ukraine goes beyond rescue efforts because stopping Putin from seeking larger goals is now the priority. Future Western action could become unable to prevent either a major war or a taking over by Putin. Current action with teamwork proves more beneficial than useless commitments.
