Why does Russia think NATO is the biggest threat?

NATO is like a friend who is a champion boxer, to a school bully.

Russia is a bully.
It never picks an enemy it’s own size and strength.

That’s why Russia keeps complaining about NATO.

In 75 years of its existence, NATO never attacked Russia.

The only time NATO planes crossed into the Russian air space was when they brought humanitarian aid to Russians in 1990s.

• ‘Operation Provide Hope’ was announced on Jan.23, 1992.
• Within 2 weeks, US Air Force flew 2,363 short tons (2,144 t) of food and medical supplies to 24 locations, including Moscow and Saint Petersburg.

• After that, food and medical supplies were continually shipped by sea, land, and air from Europe.
• In total, 25,000 tons of food and medicine were sent to 33 cities in the former Soviet Union.
• The operation concluded in September 1994.

When Putin complains of NATO, that’s what NATO actually did for Russia.
